With over 20 years’ experience in the STM publishing and medical communications industries, Claire is responsible for managing Springer Healthcare’s editorial and writing teams across international markets, including Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. Working closely with our clients, as well as expert clinical advisors and authors, she and her teams deliver the highest quality scientific and clinical content to the pharmaceutical and device industries, and the international healthcare community.

Iain joined Springer Healthcare in 2008 and has over 15 years’ experience of delivering customized communication programs for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. He provides scientific and strategic direction across Springer Healthcare and, as such, has an in-depth knowledge of our different divisions and product portfolio, enabling him to create bespoke solutions for our clients.

Jonathon joined Springer Healthcare in 2016 and has over 6 years’ experience of developing medical and marketing initiatives. Jonathon has a Masters degree in Translational Neuroscience with a particular focus on Alzheimer’s disease, and he applies this knowledge to his primary accounts. He delivers a wide range of editorial content, including meeting materials, training modules and digital content.
Business Development Manager
Felicity has been involved with medical publishing and pharmaceutical marketing for seven years during which time she has managed communications requirements for some of our larger diabetes and oncology accounts. Previous experiences within project management allow Felicity to respond to this fast moving portfolio and demanding environment. Felicity has experience of developing custom communications on behalf of clients and making their concepts a reality.

With a background in marketing, Patrick has been with the Northern Europe team for more than four years during which time he has made a huge impact with our hematology and oncology clients. Patrick has also been instrumental in growing our business with diagnostic companies and has experience of helping smaller companies achieve maximum impact via credible content. Patrick helps clients incorporate our society content into their custom communications via digital platforms.
Licensing Executive
Neil has extensive experience of emerging markets in territories such as Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Turkey, and Middle Eastern countries. Having been part of our team for more than 10 years Neil has gained extensive knowledge of the branded generic market and can provide advice on the needs of physicians in central and Eastern Europe. Neil also has expertise in the delivery of content into international territories and has successfully maintained a network of partners who help our clients to achieve their communication goals.

With a career spanning over 23 years working in the pharmaceutical industry and for major medical publishers and information providers, Calum has responsibility for the European market. Drawing upon a strong business development background in developing innovative solutions for pharma and significant experience of new publishing and digital delivery models, Calum has been responsible for shaping the expertise of our team and aligning the individuals required to best meet our clients’ needs.

After completing higher degrees in biochemistry, Jo joined Springer Healthcare in 2007. Jo has worked across many of our product lines and has an in-depth knowledge of our portfolio and what it takes to deliver these products to a very high standard. Her highly experienced global teams are responsible for efficient and on-budget project delivery.
Digital Product Development Director
Simon has over 15 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical communications space with a focus on digital solutions. Simon is responsible for monitoring and evaluating technological advances in STM publishing in order to identify opportunities to enhance our portfolio of digital offerings, either through enhancements to existing digital products, or by creating completely new products to answer our clients’ needs. Simon also investigates opportunities, works with external and internal partners to evaluate opportunities, and oversees the creation of product prototypes.
Online Analytics, Engagement and Insight Manager
Matthew has over 3 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical communications space with a focus on publishing and digital solutions. Matthew is responsible for managing digital projects in order to identify opportunities to enhance our portfolio of digital offerings, either through enhancements to existing digital products, or by creating completely new products to answer our clients’ needs. Matthew also manages the creation of product prototypes.

Kristen joined Springer Healthcare in 2016 as a biochemistry graduate with industrial experience in the pharmaceutical sector (drug development) and a clinical research institute.
As Project Manager, Kristen is responsible for assessing project objectives, planning and coordinating all levels of support, as well as communicating and liaising with clients, HCPs, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Senior Business Development Manager
Simon has spent over 15 years in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, having worked for MSD, Langland and Havas Lynx. His holistic approach and experience from both sides of the pharmaceutical industry give him a unique perspective and a diverse understanding of effective scientific exchange. Simon focuses on creating educational initiatives and working with clinical experts to address unmet educational needs through medical communications, medical education and sales force/MSL training.
